The Disguise Kit is a tool used to disguise its user as another player. They can be purchased from Shop Terminals, and Chaos Insurgency Shops. When using a Disguise Kit the user will emit a cloud of grey smoke which will disappear after a short time, this will also happen when they exit their disguise.
Versions of the Disguise Kit[]
Poor Disguise Kit[]
The Poor Disguise Kit has question marks which is, very noticeable at the blind eye. Like its name this disguise kit is cheap, $300 per item.
Average Disguise Kit[]
The Average Disguise Kit like its predecessor has question marks but instead of, having big ones and very noticeable, it has small question marks. The Average Disguise kit has a 30% chance to break when you take damage. Internal Security, the Site Director, and Chaos Saboteurs spawn with an Average Disguise Kit.
Good Disguise Kit[]
This Disguise Kit beats every record of its predecessors, when disguising there is NO question marks but to compensate this, it is expensive. Only Overseers spawn with a Good Disguise Kit by default. It can only be bought at a Chaos Insurgency Shop, or Riot Vendor.
Tips[]
- If a Prisoner comes close to you as a disguised Foundation they still see the pickpocket icon on your character which doesn't appear for a real Prisoner, this could give you away.
- You can recognize your ally if your gun crosshair show green when aiming at ally disguise as enemies. The job tag will also show (DISGUISED ALLY).
- If you are a Prisoner and you disguise into an Mobile Task Force, change your disguise because you wont have the Mobile Task Force Armor.
- If you’re a Chaos Insurgent and want to disguise, take off your armor since the armor will show even if you’re disguised.
Notes[]
- Shooting a weapon or punching while disguised will reveal the disguise.
- The only way for a Foundation member to obtain a disguise kit is to be Internal Security, Overseer, or the Site Director. Other Foundation members besides those jobs cannot buy it from Terminals.
- The Disguise Kit is a reference to the Spy from Team Fortress 2 who can disguise as enemies in a similar manner.
