Not to be confused with Dr. Bright.
The Unusual Amulet was a low-threat anomaly found in Dr. Bright's office inside Light Containment, close to the Mobile Task Force Armory, Level 990 Door, and the Melancholy Lamp's containment.
Inside the office, Dr. Bright's body could be found with the Amulet still on him. Taking it change the player's name to Dr. Bright.
Anomalous Effects[]
The Foundation, Chaos Insurgency, and Prisoners could pick up and wear the Amulet, but will not be given any special abilities for doing so. However, if a Prisoner or Chaos Insurgent took the Amulet they be switched to the Foundation team and be placed in the Scientist job for one life.
If a player had an AK-47 as a Chaos Insurgency or Prisoner then they will be allowed to use AK-47 as Foundation. If a player survived the Omega Warheads with the Amulet, then they'll spawned in Research Wing, no matter what team they were on, and still be labeled as Dr. Bright. The player could change jobs while being Dr. Bright and still be Dr. Bright.

- Doctor-Not-So-Bright: Acquire the Unusual Amulet and stand in the Melancholy Lamp's light.
Notes[]
- Even if a player became Dr. Bright as a Chaos Insurgent or Prisoner, others could still get kill contracts on the player. There was also a hidden Sledgehammer hidden at the corner, behind the cupboard. Then it got removed
- If a player wearing the Unusual Amulet went into the Clockwork Machine on 1:1, they will morph into the original Dr. Bright.
- Before the Shy Guy Update, those who wear the Amulet will be given the coat of a Scientist despite the fact that Dr. Bright actually wears the uniform of a Medical Personnel.
- Disguising while wearing the Unusual Amulet, then un-disguising resets the player's name from Dr. Bright to their actual username.
- Due to a controversy in the SCP wiki regarding of Dr. Bright author actions, it was removed to avoid problems.
- Unusual Amulet it's the second anomaly to be removed from Site 76, the first being The Painting.
