The Taser is a small electrical stun-gun weapon device used for zapping enemies. It costs $600 dollars for certain Foundation subclasses, and purchasing it is only temporarily after dying or leaving. The gun deals no damage to players, although, it may stun certain players.
This weapon is a unique gun since it's only exclusive/available to the Foundation, so the Chaos Insurgency and Prisoners have no way of accessing the Taser in any way. If a Prisoner or Chaos Insurgent is seen with a Taser, then it's a Foundation in disguise.
The Taser is used for the following actions:
- Stunning Prisoners and/or Chaos Insurgency to arrest them easier.
- Slowing down players from escaping.
The Taser can be bought at Shop Terminals. Mobile Task Force, Security, Internal Security, Site Director and Overseer automatically spawn with one. Foundation Staff, Medical Personnel, and Scientist will not spawn with one
Effects[]
The Effects when getting stunned via Taser:
- The player will ragdoll on the floor, and will be paralyzed, unable to move
- The player is unable to take out or use any weapons.
- Their body will be immune to all bullets, except the Rocket/Rocket Launcher.
After 3 seconds, they will be able to move again and the Taser's effects will revert.

Notes and Trivia[]
- Unlike other weapons, buying the Taser through the Shop Terminal will not save the data after dying/leaving.
- The item can not be rented.
- There is no reloading animation for the Taser.
- There is also no sound when reloading the Taser.
- The Taser does not have a ammo feed provided. Although, it is obvious to determine how much bullet capacity each mag contains.
- The Taser does not have a hitmarker when shooting someone.
Countering Guides and Tips[]
- Try to not run at people with a taser and instead opt to use it only when you are right in front of your target.
- Usually the people who run at you with the taser at far ranges are complete morons, use this to your advantage.
- To avoid people who camp with the taser try to open a door but try to not be in front of it. This may cause the person camping to whiff and allows you to easily kill them.
- ALWAYS check your corners. Especially if you already come across at least one person camping.
